Feb 16 2017 A Flag To Be Margarine-ly Proud Of

The QCIB escapes the subbasement and interviews His Worship, Mayor Michael Fougere (for reals). We talk about the city flag, the city budget, the city's stake in the provincial budget and the city's housing program. Plus, thank all the Gods of Sensible Bureaucracy, the 2017 city budget is finally in the can, so the QCIB makes one final budget report. Music by Ryan Hill (aka Guidewire). Dec 15 2016 A Very Miscellaneousmas Meeting

A report on all the festive free transit available this holiday season from Nathan Luhning, the manager of business development for Regina's transit department. Then, a very jolly visit from Ol' St Nick. Did I type "jolly"? I meant cranky. And asthmatic. And loud. We're beginning to wonder if maybe that wasn't Santa Claus at all. A hobo maybe? He did bring his own elves. Though, come to think of it, they weren't all that short. And those pointy ears… they might have been slippers on the sides of their heads. So… maybe not elves, either. Fortunately, we did have some legit Christmas tunes from Belle Plaine and the Extroverts. Theme music by Ryan Hill (aka Guidewire). Originally broadcast on 91.3 CJTR, Regina community radio.

Nov 10 2016 A Queen City Soundtrack

The Pilot and Navigator from CJTR's The Cockpit are in th'QCIB howz! They've made their way into city hall's dankest subbasement to help us put together a soundtrack for the Queen City. This meeting features music from Regina bands like Rah Rah, The Dead South, Orbital Express, The Lazy MKs, Lunar Lander Dance Commander, Bears in Hazenmore, The Extroverts, Sylvie, Sonic Orchid, Krystaal and more. Theme music (and one other tune) provided by Guidewire (aka Ryan Hill). Originally broadcast on 91.3 CJTR, Regina community radio.

Oct 27 2016 It's A Very QCIB Halloween

The results are in, the Queen City has a new city council and we take a look back at the 2016 municipal election. Plus, it's Halloween and the QCIB gets a visit from Neechums & Richardson, paranormal researchers. They perform a very spooky seance. Music by Guidewire (aka Ryan Hill). Special thanks to Cole Nicholson and Cameron Chomyn of Hitchhikers Improv for their assistance. Originally broadcast on 91.3 CJTR, Regina community radio.

Oct 06 2016 You've Heard Credible Reports Of Ghosts Terrorizing People In The Downtown…

Our exit interview with Natascia Lypny, former Leader Post city hall reporter now, presumably, a jobless hobo. She thrills us with council stories and opines upon the upcoming city election. Plus, we corner mayoral candidate Jim Elliott in the library and make him answer questions about transdimensional portals. And we get a call from Ward 3 candidate, Tamara Knight. Music by Ryan Hill (aka Guidewire). Originally broadcast on 91.3 CJTR, Regina community radio

Sept 29 2016 It's An Autumn Miracle

It's a very special QCIB meeting — part of the Thursday Night Action Pack Radiothon SuperShow. Special guest, Ward 2 Councillor Bob Hawkins who tells us about that time he met gonzo journalist, Hunter S Thompson. Plus, the QCIB Political Round Table, with our prodigal intern, Sharrot Clærge (aka Jared Clarke, the Prairie Naturalist). Phone lines to the sub-basement are open, the QCIB is taking calls. Music by Guidewire (aka Ryan Hill). Originally broadcast on 91.3 CJTR, Regina community radio.
